I have a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E8400 processor and it's saying that it doesn't even come close to the recommended setting. I find it weird since I'v never had a problem with any total war game to date. Is Shogun 2 going to be just that powerful of a game

Thx I was searched this kind page. Looks nice for me, because my overall performance is bit over than recommended, so it should work well.
My processor was unknow in details, so system performance didn't take it up. My processor is AMD Athlon(tm) II x2 245 processor (2CPUs) 2,9GHz.

"Yes! Your system meets the recommended requirements for Shogun 2: Total War.
It should run well on your computer at high visual settings."

We are sorry, the Game-o-Meter is unable to calculate a performance estimate for your computer.
It is unable to determine how well Shogun 2: Total War runs on your system. This may be because:
    - Your processor or your video card is a very new model
    - Your computer has a processor and video card combination that is very rare
    - Or your processor or your video card is very old
If your system is new, this problem should resolve itself automatically as more data is submitted. Please try again in a few days.

I don't like that site. It told me once that my system couldn't handle Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion even at minimum settings but I've been playing that game on all the best settings without any issues whatsoever. It also told me I wouldn't be able to play ETW ot NTW and I can manage those high settings too.
I may not be the sharpest tool in the box, but at least I'm in the box!

Won't run on my system. Not that I've got anything to worry about though, just upgraded to an i5 2400 and a GTX460. If I can max out Napoleon I should be able to at least run Shogun II

I recommend buy ATI RADEON HD 5XXX serie, not cost much and it is worth to game.
