well as i mentioned in my tactics guide...if the AI is setted on expert ure men will start routing a way faster than normal thats why u either have to support them with ure gen or if he isnt available follow the tactic is explained....move them smartly and if possible always outnumber the enemies units by doubleattacking them and if that doesnt work send elite units where ure moral is about to break they can inspire the rest of ure troops hope that helped cheers
Good afternoon everybody !
A trick that is interesting to know:
Feel free to slow the progress of the battle to properly organize the movements of units

Nice Guide well done
hey everybody just in case u want some campaign action i just started one check out part one on my youtube channel

Nice guides here xHerzoGx, I picked up some handy tips
My tip, when firing artillery at stationary opponents, instead of simply right clicking the unit, right click close to the center of the unit. Artillery auto attacks flanks of the enemy and often misses.
Fire artillery at stationary cavalry. One salvo of round shot can utterly decimate a cavalry formation.
When firing howitzers, rockets or mortars at moving enemies, aim ahead of the enemy. This accounts for the reloading time and air time of the shell or rocket.
When using militia, either fight in buildings, or close with the bayonet after one musket shot. After the initial shot, militia accuracy is so bad that it is best to charge quickly with bayonet.
Don't use grenadier grenades. They are practically worthless and have terrible range. Charge with the bayonet instead when you are that close.
The best units for cutting down routing enemies are hussars and cheval. The best chargers are lancers. For melee combat, go with heavy cavalry or dragoons. Dismout dragoons only when taking on lone enemy units- dis/mounting takes a long time.
Light infantry stakes are only useful in open terrain, they don't work among trees.
Does AI means "Automated idiot"?
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer
Very nice guide.. good work
I don't see how artillery can win battles, although it is strong, I find relying on my dragoons as the key to victory, even when down too 3 or 6, with the right usage can still make a devastating blow to an unprepared infantry line.
