    Default Retexture:

    Hey people,

I've just started modding with the help of tutorials and other mods I'm trying to learn. It's quite hard though
Now I never could find a good explanation how to retexture. I just tried some things yesterday for 4 hours until I gave up... I really need some help with this.

I wish to retexture the British_Officer_Coat_2 that I've put on the soldiers, as can be seen here:

Also I can't seem to find Britain_Colour_Mask.dds. It isn't below it's Atlas file.

So any help would be greatly apreciated

Variantmodels2.pack is where its conatined but editing that wont help you.

You either must colour the diffuse black (try and use blending to keep the detail on the original coat) or change the uniform to uniform colours tables entry to be black.

I suggest colour the diffuse.dds, and black out the coat in the colour_mask. That what whatever is on the diffuse.dds will be in game!
