[RS 2.1a] New Faction Leader Images v.2 - ( Download )

I've made some new faction leader images that I now offer to those who wish to use them. There's one for every culture slot used in RSII ( I believe... ), i.e. Barbarian, Carthaginian, Eastern, Hellenistic ( Greek ), Ptolemaic ( Egyptian ), Sarmatian ( Nomad ), and Roman. I've made them in a style that should fit in with the original vanilla one somewhat well.

I've separated the Romans into three eras, depicting the political development of the Roman state. The first one, named Consuls, depicts the dual leadership of the two elected consuls during the Republican era. The next one, Dictator, portrays the age of the so-called "super generals" such as Sulla, Crassus, Pompey, Caesar, and Anthony and Octavian etc. The final image of course represents the principate, or the imperial era, with badly disguised monarchs acting in the "republican theatre".

Please note that it is possible to switch, and change these images during a campaign in order to reflect your own progress and development when playing as the Romans.

Yes, replacing images are savegame compatible. The engine will always look for that particular image, with that specific name and so on.

That's one of the benefits with these faction leader images, because when playing as the Romans, you could sort of "roleplay" and change from two republican consuls to the emperor, depending on your own game progress. When you feel that you've reached the imperial era, you could simply replace the images.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I like ancient times better.
Where't the download link for this RS2 New Faction Leader Images patch?
Also do you guys know if there's a unit skin patch for the Spartan faction with units whearing Corinthian helmets, and if not how can I change some skins manualy to like the medic and the leader in each unit on the battle maps, not sure if you guys understand what I mean.

I did release a first version, but then I decided to rework the images, so I took the download link down. Then my work for another mod came in the way, so the new version has been delayed a bit. I'll hopefully have it up and running within a couple of weeks.
