I liked Spiderman 1 because I was 10. But even at 10 I didn't love it. From there the movies got worse and I got harder to please. So I have to say #3 was a miserable failure. It was worse than Daredevil. At least Daredevil had Michael Clark Duncan.

At least the old crap batman movies (and while we're going there the tv show) had steelo.

I can believe that, the second half was so cheesy and bad it must have been done on purpose.

The same guy was pretty serious about Hercules and Xena, so I don't know, really.
August Strindberg: "There's a view, current at the moment even among quite sensible people, that women, that secondary form of humanity (second to men, the lords and shapers of human civilisation) should in some way become equal with men, or could so be; this is leading to a struggle which is both bizarre and doomed. It's bizarre because a secondary form, by the laws of science, is always going to be a secondary form. Imagine two people, A (a man) and B (a woman). They start to run a race from the same point, C. A (the man) has a speed of, let's say, 100; B (the woman) has a speed of 60. Now, the question is 'Can B ever overtake A?" and the answer is 'Never!'. Whatever training, encouragement or self-denial is applied, the proposition is as impossible as that two parallel lines should ever meet."

That's a matter of taste... Either way I don't think Jackson would feel comfortable with DC movies, and Spielberg or Scott aren't fit for that either. Nolan has shown he's up for the task, if the goal of this reboot really is to make it feel more gritty and "realistic". Like the way he did with Batman. But I would rather see more Batman movies than a reboot of Spiderman...

This movie looks, and is going to be, utter balls.
No matter how good it does at the box office, nothing will change that fact.

No, that would be Francis Ford Coppola.

Hopefully it's not utter balls I don't need it to be a masterpiece, I just need it to suck less.

I was going to say the same thing about FFC.

If they want it done right give it to Zack Snyder. He has yet to cock up a comic book movie. I mean they're not great as far as movies go but they're pretty awesome to watch and faithful to the comics. He knows his .

No from what I heard ZS is doing a Clark Kent movie. Superman is a facet of his Superman. It's about Clark Kent. Probably something in between "Superboy" and "Superman."

I wish they'd base it off Golden Age Superman. I know they won't, but he's more compelling with limitations. When he's punching out stars and moving planets I wonder... It was a better concept when he couldn't fly. At least that made sense. "More Oomph!" *Flies Faster*

"Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman!".

It'd be kind of nice if he could DODGE Bullets, Slow a speeding train to a halt, Leap a few hundred feet, and come fist first into the face of the bad guys. Then when he manages to defeat Braniac and Darkseid you're like "Wow I didn't expect him to use a strategy" instead of "No he punched out a God, he eats stars and pisses enriched plutonium."

A shame Zack Snyder is wasting his time on Superman, the most bland and boring superhero of them all.

I would love for him to make a Hulk movie. He could really capture the drama of it I think. He build up a lot of credit with Watchmen.
