That makes so much sense. How I do run EB Alexander though? I don't believe there is a shortcut. I'm navigating on Windows 8 so I'm completely clueless.
EDIT: Got the shortcut working. But Now I'm getting a Legio I Germanica CTD.

Oh no! Your mod completed EB.
I'll try reinstalling outside of my Program Files x86 folder. Maybe there's some sort of UAC problem.

Taken from an announcement on the Mod Pack's website:
Hello again MMPers. I am here to make an important announcement concerning the current 1.0.x version of the Mod Pack.
It has been quite a long time since the first release of the Mod Pack (two years, to be precise), and all updates were released soon after, not even a month had passed, if I recall correctly. Beyond that, I released some (quite badly compatibilized) mini mods which I had made for the second version of the mod (currently, version 1.1.x), as well as a small hotfix that corrected some annoying CTDs.
It's been more than a year and no updates have been released since. And I don't plan to release any more updates to the current 1.0.x versions of the mod. That's right, I'm officially declaring that the 1.0.x version of the mod has been discontinued. That doesn't mean that there won't be any technical support for that version of the mod, rather, that there will be no further minor updates, addons, fixes or compatibility adjustments to the addons I released back in late 2011 (sorry lads, but you're gonna have to copy those files manually).
Back when I released the mod pack, I was younger, more eager, and more careless, so it was a complete mess, organization-wise. The folders where I had made the mod pack was like if there was a hurricane that swept through a pile of spare parts and managed to make a decent car, but you wouldn't be able to know what to fix if something was wrong. That made it quite difficult to track down bugs and make addons, and I decided to not break my head further with that lovely mess of a mod any longer.
Hopefully you can understand.
Regards.
The Mod Master and Pack Keeper.

My installation outside of Program Files x86 worked! It's just that I can't apply the ExTSO, for it makes the problem return.
Is there any way to reintroduce the original EB campaign map water? There's something I like about those dark blue waters and fluffy white cloud reflections.

"ExTSO is not made to be compatible with the current version of the mod pack.
You can, however, install ExTSO someplace else, and replace the files with the mod pack files, then copy those files to your EB install."
For the water issue, just replace the .pack files with EB's .pack files (in the packs folder)

Cool! Thanks, Jirisys.

I Need to Have Rome Total War Patched to the last version right or Alexander.
If I'm not mistaken that's 1.5 and 1.9.
How do I install the historical battles? Right now they are in my EB folder.. but not in the data folder.
Is this compatible with Casual Tactician's 'Extended Unit Info Mod'? I read in here that it might be included in a future edition of your Mega Mod Pack.
Ok. Thanks for the swift answer and the work you've put into this pack.
Is this compatible with Barbarian Invasion? I could've sworn I've asked it before, but I did thread search for BI and found nothing, so thought I should just go ahead and ask.
Hate to make myself sound like even more of an idiot when it comes to technical stuff, but what does this actually mean?
If it's an extremely complex thing which there isn't a guide, or basic instructions for me to go off, then don't worry, I'll just live without the Mega Mod Pack (or even go back to playing on RTW instead!) In any case, cheers for replying, and also many thanks for an awesome sub mod - I've played with this before, and it's pretty damn awesome.
Dude, just download a no CD version of the Alexander.exe, you can find those easily and that's all you need to run the Alexander version of the game.

Is there any way to disable the mod that halves the pedites extraordinarii unit size?
