Couple of questions though. Early/late era? What differences are there and can I change this setting after install? Also can I delete the .bin files after install because I want to conserve hard drive space?

Early/late era makes no difference. Whatever you want.
You can delete the binfiles. You can change the settings after install.

Hey, I downloaded this mod and absolutely luv it!
But I have a very bad problem... My cpu is a piece of junk, so I must wait 3 minutes or so for my next turn.. sad face
Is there a way I can remove scripts to speed up the process? If so which ones do you recommend?

Have just installed the SS6.4 over clean copy of SS6.3. Upload went normal and presented me with opening selection screen for single or multiple player, next was screen for "early era" and then screen to pick which faction to use. Problem is that after selecting the faction and selecting start the program crashes back to the "early era" selection screen. Is there a patch for this?

Run SS_setup with UAC disabled and full administrator rights (if running Win7 or Vista)

I think it needs to be in the C:/.../m2tw/mods/ss6.3 folder, I've always had it there and no problems for me.

ss_setup.exe and ss6.3.exe are two different files. One installs the files from the 'disks' or the .bin files, (ss6.3.exe), ss_setup.exe sets up the game and the temp files necessary to run it after the install. Run both as admin. ss6.3.exe first, then ss_setup.exe. (ss6.3.exe is wherever your install folder is with the 5 .bin files, the ss_setup.exe is in your mod folder (ss6.3) after your install).

turn off shadows, anti-aliasing and the boats/wagons.

Thanks. Turning off the campaign map shadows alone seemed to do the thing. Although the scrolling is not that smooth as I would like it to be, the map is already playable.
