alrite thnkshahah probably stupid question .....also i saw some youtube guy that played SS and he got a patch that made the byzentine(spelling?) empire into the roman empire? is that needed or not anymore? thnks in advance..sorry kinda new
No the roman name change isn't in it...but someone might add it later..but it's not needed to play 6.4. And the other guys question about the install breaking saves...yes it'll break ur 6.3 saves...so i downloaded a new version of ss6.3 and installed it as ss6.3a and then installed the 6.4 patch into that mod folder...and now i got both...hope that helps.

Ugh, I told myself I wouldn't be too bothered by the release of a new version if I was having fun with the old, but...damn! Everything I could have wanted. Settlement growth, Guild rebalancing, AI money use...all new features look great! I'll be hard pressed to go back to my 6.3 games knowing what's in store.
Well, I'll definitely at least until Meneth does his thing, great work to all!
Awesome!!
Also, I'm guessing this is not save-game compatible with 6.3? I read all the posts, but never saw a definite answer, so sorry if I missed something.

If you like the picture of my woman, GIVE ME REP!!!!
Meneth, I have the sub-mod compilation on. Therefore, I imagine I will need a clean SS 6.3 installation followed by SS 6.4 (no patch fixes needed), am I right?
Sub-Mod will have to wait a little bit longer, if I am not mistaken. Can you confirm all this to me? Damn it, I was having so much fun playing the old version!
Great Job everyone!
