here's my question
i downloaded with a turrent that i found in pirate bay
there are only 2 and one of them has no seeds virtually
so i used the other one by gargantus (whatever his nick his)
i have quite a few ctds
are you familiar with this turrent and is it a good one? should i download the mod anew with your turrents?

So I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I dont want to make a new topic thats not needed.

So I decided to install this mod a few times, but never could get it to work right (I am a novice with mods) then I used Gigantus's version and all the stuff seemed to be installing, but everytime I tried to install the first part of the download I got a message saying the files were corrupt. I tried to re-install it and it went farther before the installing screen froze and went to the corrupt file error, but still ended in a corrupt file proventing me from downloading it.

So what should I do here? I am a massive Warhammer fan and really want this mod.

Apply this tut from step three and delete all present CoW installation in the M2TW\mods folder.
Then try my install again. If it fails with a corrupt file message, calculate roughly which part it could be and download that part again.

Alternatively download my torrent, that should not give any corrupt messages.

Well I am rubbish with understanding anything really technical so I decided to use your torrent. I heard it has alot of stability issues though. Any truth to that? I am on Vista btw if that means anything.

I made my version to eliminate the stability issues. It seems to have worked going by all the comments I had.

It is still advisable to implement the tutorial I linked to.

Well I did what step 3 said exactly, but I still get the corrupt file upon trying to install the EXE thing first. The file was something something crusader.

Check at which percentage that error occurred and work out roughly which part of the installation that would be. Then download that part again and try again. Are you actually using the torrent files form my upload? Because this is the first case of a corrupt file from there (and rather unlikely).
Can you take a screenshot please when this happens? Or write down the percentage, name of the file as well as whether it was the first or second EXE.
