I'll move this over to the correct thread. I already talked to Fortes about it but other opinions would be good;

Basically I saw the socialist/communist revolution flags a felt something was missing.

This is the "Age of Liberalism" after all so I have an idea.

Im not talking about changing the standard flags but having them as a revolution flag depending on the situation

now that you did mention metal ships, how do you plan to do them? afaik we cannot change animations atm, so would you stick to steam paddlers?

ive started to reskin a steam ship and i am trying to change the rigid model without touching the animated parts, so i am naturally interested.

Well that is something that we haven't discussed a lot yet, but we have a idea, that we won't revel for now

i see, that makes a bad base for discussion. so you already have someone working on this? may one ask who? i promise i wont pester him about details, but with so few people working on this stuff, theres hardly any discussion possible. anyway, let me know if you need another hand.

btw, are you cooperating/sharing with mods like ACW, or other mods in the same era?

First how is that not possible?

Im not talking about a monarchy revolution.

A socialist revolution would change to a socialist gov and the socialist flag
A liberal revolution would change to a republic gov and liberal flag.


Middle class upset triggers a liberal revolution
Lower class upset triggers a socialist revolution

The game only uses two faction flags-Monarchy (both kinds) and Republic. We can't add any more. Its hard coded. Thats how it isn't possible.

If the middle class is upset you get a constitutional monarchy, which has the same flag as an absolute monarchy.
