Would this mod be affected if I installed the Game of the Year edition?
My apologies if I am in the wrong area to ask this,
Also, since I already have Empire Total War Installed, would it be reinstalled because it's already in the GOTY one?

Not sure if ETW will be reinstalled, but you might want to back it up just in case. (Steam --> Library --> Right-click ETW --> Backup Game Files...)
Having GOTY should not affect any mods at all, but you might need to reinstall DarthMod/DMUC after install GOTY.

Obvious question first, why on on earth would you install a GOTY edition if you already own the game?

Installing it when you already have the game isn't such a good plan-I tried that and if I tried to use the same steam account then it would refuse to believe I had the GOTY version and still just installed the normal version. I only got round this by putting it on a new steam account.
