Can you post here the relevant bit of code from DS?

you should add -show_err to you shortcutline, start the game and exit it so it will show the error.

Didn't read your problem good, forget this post i made

    it sais:
    Script error in
    ROME(my mod folder)/data/world/maps/campaing/imperial_campaing/descr_strat.txt
    at line 836 column 36
    couldn't find spouse end

that is where those relationships are but the thing is that there are all the ends there have to be.??

if all this is what you want to know cause i don't really understand those computer words

    right , here it is:
    relative my_male_name, my_female_name, my_second_female_name, end
    relative my_second_male_name, end

i think ther is just not enought compared to the descr_strat from the vanilla rtw cause after i deleted the relationships from the people who i don't want to exist the game didn't work anymore but I keep getting this message

did you add the daughter to the caracther record?

And have you also made sure that these to new male caracthers are the sons of a existing family member?

See above. You're missing second_male_name's wife.

Then you don't need the "relative" line.

so that was the error ,thank you very much!
by the way: do you know how i can give a portrait to a specific character or else how to make a folder for portraits just for the julii/senate/scipii in stead of a folder for just all romans?

It's not possible, only can give specific portraits to all factions with the same cultures.

Holy crap that worked for my family tree too, I have had the stupid couldn't find spouse script error for a week now. I don't get it, why does it work? The tutorials say the faction leader has to be listed first in the relative line... well i flipped my relative lines upside down so the faction leader line is the bottom one and bam the whole darn tree works now... why though? I wan't to know!
