Ever wondered what would happen if a Roman Legionary fought against an orc?
Or against a Troll perhaps?

When watching the movie about a hundred times, did you ever say to yourself,
"What if Rome attacked the Rohan?" or "Could the Roman Archers be more successful than the Elves at the defense of Helm's Deep?" or maybe even "Who would win? Rome or Gondor?"

Then this is the submod for you.

Just post in the Screenshots thread my friend. I'm sure JAL and MBA won't mind. I do it all the time with factions from CoW and Thera fighting our beloved friends from Middle Earth

Very nicely done and very nice progress. My only question is did you get permission from the IB2 team to use their models? If not, then I'm afraid that you will not be allowed to post the mod for others to enjoy You can, however, keep posting screens of pure awesomeness

Hehe, I understand that you are proud of your work, but modesty is a virtue my friend. You should make mods because you like to, not just to get some rep out of it You may think I'm being rude, but I'm just stating an honest opinion.

Using the late Romans might be a little difficult because I don't have permission from IB2 yet...
So just tell me which of these guys do you prefer...I'll go with your decisions...

I'm still waiting for RS2 team's reply...
the guy who converted the models and skins gave me the go...

The story goes that the Late Romans fled after the fall of Rome...They stumbled upon Middle-Earth and decided to settle and start a new life.

The other story(for RS2 Romans) was that they were sent on an expedition to find the ends of the earth.

Which of these stories appeal to you more?
If you guys prefer the late romans, I'll ask IB2
If you guys prefer RS2 Roman units, I'm still waiting for Tone's reply

I got this idea when I played "The Lost Legion in Middle Earth" for FATW(RTW mod)
Then I wondered how epic it would be if it was on medieval...

I think the early guys look better almost, and makes better sense. Rome was looking for more lands and stuff during the early years, so an exploration that accidentally hits Middle Earth makes better sense. You should make them land near Harad though, would be alot of fun to fight the endless armies of the south!

but the battle UI is annoying...I'll have to get rid of it first...

I made it with a clean version of TATW...
probably make one in the later versions
