I don't have that problem...Orcs and Goblins have different voices for me.

Yeah, well... that's wierd... It's propably just something I did wrong in the installation process... Installed some files in wrong folder or something similiar... But still better than the original voices!

Galloper - I created the "New Music" mod for COW and Red Dwarf suggested that I incorporate your voices into my mod. Right now I modify both events files in the sounds folder and apparently you do the same so there is no way to have my mod with yours.

Can you help me combine our mods? I think I would need your original files for the voices and some direction about which text files to modify. I have never tried to modify voices before.

    Any help is appreciated!

Galloper, if you release a new version can you make it compatible with the new patch 1.41?

This is compatible with the music mods out there if you do this, just delete events.dat & events.idx to be compatible with Gallopers english voice mod credit Ostrogoth

You can easily unpack sounds from my mod using xidx utility. Than delete packs and exe will generate them.
Btw for the current and next versions of the mod I'll use only sfx.dat and voice.dat without events file so if you change in your mod only music my files don't mess with yours.

Try new version, if it doesn't work for you write here, but please be more specific about what units doesn't respond correctly.

I'll begin with empire after chaos, medievel vanilla sounds more or less fits the empire.

    Santascoming
Pre battle speeches and messages for the custscenes currently disabled in cow and this sounds in my opinion is less important that voices for strategic and battle map.

And this is the complete non-DO voiceset collection:
    http://www.filefront.com/17271965/Vo...ollection.rar/

It has voice sets made by ActionFighter, Ozzymosis, KainofNosgoth, Lupus Argenteus, as well as Mark of Chaos and Warcraft 2 rips by Imperiumiv.

By the way I do hope you'd consider using some of the custom sets for Chaos, in my opinion it does add a fair bit of colour compared to MoC. We also have Orc pre-battle speeches, dwarf and Sylvania.

    But that's just my opinion.
Peltast, for some reason I can't download Dark Omen music and speech. I press button for dowlnload and get file which have 0 kb memory
Can someone reupload it to other link?

I agree. The non-human factions should be done first as most of the Empire factions have matching voices (except Hochland which has a Middle Eastern Accent)
EDIT: There seems to be two sound errors, one major and one small:

    1) The sound that plays when you press a button is gone (it is a small error, but my OCD can't stand it)

    2) The Orcs are mute, thus rendering this mod useless

Also, would you mind changing Hochland's accent to german or something like that? It's kind of funny to hear them saying "Praise ALLAH!" or "Our general has balls made of clay!" or even "Our general was bolder than a rooster and has thrown his life away..."

That's weird, I don't have any of those problems. I have the U.S. version of Medieval 2 and Kingdoms but I don't know if that makes a difference. Also I had v1 of the mod installed before v2 for 1.41 came out. I overwrote the old files with the new, maybe v2 is missing some files that were in v1?
