Between the rivers of Euphrate and Tigris lies the ancient home of civilization and the god's sacred cities from time immemorial. Long before the upstarts of Assyria rose from their tents and only wild animals strode beside the Nile, the temples of the gods rose towards the sky between the rivers. Uruk, Ur, Lagash, Nippur, Isin and Eridu are cities old as the mountains and the home of the mighty gods – and in the center the mightiest of them all, Babylon, home to the King of the Gods, Marduk, who slew the great dragon Tiamat and raised his mighty temple Etemenanki in Babylon. The ancient mystery of antediluvian history dwells on the great plains of Mesopotamia where the water of the sacred rivers nourishes fields beyond count and feeds the people of the great cities and the gods themselves. Trade comes to Babylonia from all the four corners of the earth and fills its mighty treasuries with wealth and the armories with shinning steel. Like Marduk slew the dragon to establish his order upon the world, so to must the king of Babylon rise to challenge the tyranny of the Assyrian usurpers and liberate the sacred lands of the gods from the impious invaders. And then, go even further. Babylon was strong in ages past and its people may yet be strong to reach out their hands and grasp glory and power to eclipse that of their fathers, but only under a king who marches with the favour of his gods and an army to make the earth tremble beneath his feet.

Babylonian Archers
Archers can decide the fate of battle, especially if they are good marksmen. These men are the best, armed with best armor and skilled in archery, they serve as personal guards of the king, guarding his palace and family members. Seldomly, they can be seen on the battlefield, firing arrows into the enemy ranks, especially if enemy is threatening the capital or when a family member goes to battle.

Babylonian Spearmen
Babylonian first line is formed by these men. They are not armored very well, but shields they carry give them great protection and enables them to hold line for a long time, but without the support of Babylonian infantry their ranks will be smashed.
Babylonian Late Spearmen
Assyrian armies after the reforms became heavier and more disciplined. The Babylonians did the same and these warriors are a perfect example. These men use the best armor, use big shields, giving them great protection, but they do not have much mobility. Carrying these big shields requires a lot of strength and tires even the strongest warriors, but these men are not supposed to be mobile. They must hold line against any enemy and smash them.
Babylonian Troopers
These men are good warriors, experts in hiding woods and masters of ambush. Their main duty is to help spearmen who are holding the front line, for they will not last long against heavily armed forces. These men carry two javelins, throwing it into enemy lines and then charging with long Babylonian swords.
Bodyguard
These are best cavalry men, chosen to protect the King or a General on the battlefield. They are best riders and devoted men. They have the best armor available and are fierce warriors, ready to sacrifice their lives to protect their leader.
Assyria
Mat Ashur - the land of the god Ashur stretches across the world. It is the bastion of order in a world of chaos and darkness. The great gods have held their hands over the kings of Assyria and brought every city and nation kneeling before them. From a humble beginning as a city of trade dominated by lines of foreigners the Assyrian kings have grown strong under their mighty patron - Ashur the Lord of the Cosmos. Under their god the Assyrians have broken the yoke of servitude and conquered their conquerors, and have gone even further. The rule of the god Ashur and the king of Assyria is complete over northern Mesopotamia while their shadow falls across every nation upon the earth. Wherever the Assyrian armies march the gods march with them and all tremble with fear. But even the might and splendour of Assyria is not enough to grant peace for there are always evil men within and outside the Assyrian borders who desire for the rightful order to collapse into chaos and war. Even so peace is not impossibe and the chaos beyond can be tamed. By the arms of Assyria the world can be granted peace and prosperity for all ages - through its incorporation into the mat Ashur.
