(6-0-8-1) Rule Change: Sharpening the entry qualifications.

As some of you may know a small argument was started today in the new members thread, the 200 post rule would allow members into the server as people thought that would make them real members of the TWC community. However, there have been people who signed up to the site for the sole purpose of getting into the server. This is why the rule was put in place.

What people didn't realise is that 200 posts isn't enough to demoralize someone to spam the forum and get the required 200 posts. This is why I propose to sharpen the 200 posts rule:

1. A minimum 300 solid, good quality posts to be reviewed by a jury of 5 people randomly chosen by the community.
2. A minimum of 500 posts, a large amount of posts can't be spammed in such a short ammount of time. At least not if the applicant wants to abide by the ToS or if the applicant has gotten addicted to the site so much that he spend all of his time on it...
3. Keep the current rule as it is
4. Abstain.
5. I like pollz...

I was thinking of as system where we vote 5 new jurymembers each 3 months or so.

I disagree with all the options. I think 50 posts is not bad, but you need to review them. It is not hard to decide if someone is a part of the community or not. With a 300 post requirement, I would not have been able to join when I was on everyday. Posts don't meant that match.

2 suggestions: we have a short 'election' for this council; OR everyone with, say 3000 posts (or any agreed upon amount really) gets to have a say (+ server god of course)

Actually I reconsider, I like this idea.

It's simple, not overly time consuming, easy to implement and still gives us a degree of control.
Those people should just do a quick scan through the applicant's posts though.

We already made an exception for members who already were allowed on the server and those people didn't get any trouble when they asked to be allowed on the server.

Yes, we do make an exception, but think about it this way. Say I wanted to join after you made this rule. Now I would have to get how many hundreds of more posts just because you guys can't seem to trust anyone for no good reason. The entry requirements are becoming absolutely idiotic. You guys seem to think a few bad apples who spammed means everyone is. Well, tbh, getting 500 posts won't stop anyone. Heck, the most immature people who have been on this server are those that have over a thousand posts. This does nothing except make it more difficult for those who want to play on our Server and have fun.
