County Claim thread

Please post maps labeling your fortresses controlling Home/Border Counties and what you would prefer your borders to be. Please keep in mind your borders may be changed from what you want, but not without your prior consultation.

To keep this thread neat and tidy, please do not use this thread to discuss the matter: only to post maps and claims.

This is an example of my own claim. Yellow dots and borders represent Border Counties, the red dot and borders is my Home County.



Please include a detailed rationale with your claim. Please claim as individuals, not as Kingdoms.

The red and orange provinces are controlled by Dan, his Home region being Greater Gondor
The green provinces are under my control, and the Emerald Isle being my home region.
The blue provinces are ruled by Selukon, his home region being Antioch.
The cream/brown provinces are ruled by Headhunter_x, his home region is Regi.

As my Dwarf chamber was destroyed with the chunk errors I have no other wilderness constructions. The home county land was chosen because of it's rich tree source meaning a nice colour green for my trees. My aim with this land is to make a forest with giant trees with a wood elf theme matching my Kingdom the Wood Elves. The border county was claimed with the idea of a buffer zone with the rest of the world since most people are north. The water makes the other buffer zone. I have to wait till I can log on minecraft to expand the map a little to place my other border counties.

The map is a bit outdated though, my city has expanded to the right quite a bit. It also missing The Grand Canal and some guard towers I built in the last week.

EDIT: Updated my claim with the new map. In the north is the Grand Canal, to the northwest the approach to Minas Manadh (a small mountain range).

My only border county for the moment is the area encased in the light blue borders, the capital being Minas Nîr atop a mountain in a valley (where the blue dot is). There may be a change of borders depending on what Jom is going to do with his mansion.

This leaves a lot of current squektasia yes, i made my home region quite small due to it. And Eol has yet to post his claim, cause most of his buildings are in his claim, ads the area is communal and not a personal area. Maybe we shoudl make a 3 kingdoms heartland area which is nto owned by a particular but as a kingdom in whole?

These are the Erthir territorial claims. Note that our cities frequently overlap and connect to each other, which means that as far as the Dwarven Empire-Commonwealth goes, most of our lands are basically clusters of home counties. I expect the other Dwarves to fill out our other territorial claims with proper border territories, the peninsula to the northwest discluded.

You're using an old map Poach. I've finished my airship (started construction of that quite some time ago) which lies inside one of your marked areas.



That's all I want in that area. Most of my desired construction is all underground. If I ever want to do something else, it'll probably be some weird ornamental thing (...like the airship) and I can stick that wherever there's free space in the world.

yellow around lake: lake country, I have an armory/fortress on the lake. (not on any cartographs yet)
other yellow: the border marches, I don't have anything there yet, but as soon as the EOF is fixed, i'll start building something there.

Guys, can you please read the OP? Very few if any of you are detailing the location of outposts or taking time with your borders, or providing a rationale like I requested. The vast majority of you will have to re-do your claims.

Please, take your time. This will not be implemented until the new year probably. Please re-read the OP and reclaim if you feel you need to.
