Expanded Americas version 3.2

Hi, i downloaded that final version 3.2 of the expanded americas today.When the download was finished ( i use firefox) i double clicked on it but the programm didn't respond.I was also not able to close firefox and my antivirus noticed a virus.And on top of that there was a dubious website i could'nt close.
the only thing i could do was restart my pc and remove the download.
Anyone else with that problem?

I'll double check it for you, but I use good old fashoned Internet Explorer so I probably won't have a problem. Will be an hour or two before the download is finished. There are usually some online casino popup's with megaupload but nothing more sinister than that. Are you suggesting you got something more unsavoury? Also what version of windows are you using and who is your antivirus provider?

All downloaded and ran the installer with no problem at all...

I'm using Windows 7 and the antivirus is Norton.I forgot the name of the website but i only could get rid of it after reboot.

Well like I said, I downloaded it in full and launched it without a problem, I scanned the download with my antivirus on completion of download and it was clear. I'd be interested to know what happens if you try it again...
