    The Battle of Zagreb

Something more exotic using NTF with the Ottoman Empire. From my AAR on another fansite. Lots of pics
This is a graphic AAR and not a novel, so if you expect writings & romance... I did that on another website, sorry!

August 1807: the Ottoman Empire of Sultan Selim III took advantage from the lack of defense on the eastern borders of their arch-enemy, the Austrian Empire. The Austrian Emperor Franz I was far too busy containing Napoleon's advance through central Europe to see that coming. The opportunistic Ottomans backstabbed them and invaded Hungary and Croatia with almost no fight. The Austrians launched their counter-strike after the turkish "blitzkrieg" on the Balkans by sending their 1st Danube Army to take back Croatia. They met the Ottoman 2nd Balkanic Army in the northern surroundings of Zagreb. Ottomans defend the hills.

All Hail Hayreddin Pasha, General of the Balkanic Ottoman Army!

The Balkans were now secured for the Ottomans, and the road to Vienna could be opened. In the meantime, the 1st Ottoman Army of Rum joined the campaign , leaving the Carpatians for Budapest. The Austrian Empire was then surrounded my avenging enemies. The walls of Vienna itself were about to shake again, but Austria remained powerful. Will the Austrian reserve armies defeat Napoleon in Bavaria to come back in time and save Vienna from the wrath of the Turks?

Jeez Filip, take it easy. People are used to calling them bodyguards, so they do.

    Anyways, good AAR mate.
when the union's inspiration through the worker's blood shall run,
there can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun,
yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one?
but the union makes us strong.

Hey, take a pill and calm down. At least I bring content & try to entertain other members. What have YOU done so far on this website except trashing others & random posts? Nothing. Zip. NADA. No Contribution at all.

So you are in no position to lecture me. Do we understand each other here?

    Now on details...
1- the "bodyguard" naming is not mine. It's CA's so deal with it.
2- the picture: this is, indeed, a portrait of the real Ferdinand von Ostereich Este. Not my problem if he's dressed like a trumpheteer or whatever.

PS to everybody reading this: I know many ppl (awesome modders, admins giving their time, etc) are contributing to TWC a lot more than I do, but I hate these stupid / obnoxious comments from guys who never did anything constructive.
