They look great. If we use them as Militia, I think the "uniforms" should be more varied. If they appear to wear unifirms, that would make them look like regular soldiers.

of course, actually 4 differents top bodies are possibles...according the 1024/1024 textures...
So yes more variety!!!
I think more leather similar to the one on the right would be a good addition.
I am really looking forward to a Renaissance campaign!

"leather similar", yes but not only, for the "Coustillier" yes,
but brigantine must be keeped for the permanent members of the Milicia.
I post the most accurate pic that Kostic had token inna very serious book:
You can see the "permanent" member at center(maybe one "capitaine"),
the "Coustillier"(young man who achieved the captives) at the right,
the left's guy have as you see one "maillet"(here a very strong iron maul), but I keep him for the poleaxe militia

Amazing work RB, are those French knights new as well?
I survived the Mayan Apocalypse 12/21/12
Just the heavy model for the english heavy billmen, another is planned(other mesh, other textures) for the less armored version for these butchers.
About the french knights, those are the WIP reworked from vanilla with the Burreck stuff(I like too this stuff anyway).
But the shields will be changed(by the mines, like them page 2, post 23). And certainly...the targe as form, not the heater as in this screen...But its an hard work about animation...etc
But I had see with my french friend, Kostic, and checked that, the barded dress for the horse must be just disappear, for the Knights of this Era(1300-1500).
Only the great lords need to have this "beatifull dress", as generals, kings, princes, captains.
the simple knights don't had this...^^
Thanks for the compliment Ixor
Those Billmen are EXCELLENT

Its great!! I like the colours you use for the Billmen .... BTW i see alot of dead French bodies lying on the ground? Is that because of English bows
Also i can see English Knights in the background by the looks of it you given new colours to English knights and/or textures?

interesting....keep it up mate!!
cheers
TO ARMS IN DIXIE !!!
I dont think u should leave the horses with no padded dress. Remember that they did wear a chain mail. So just remove the unnecesary details of the dress. Leave theme like noble knights, padded without details in dress. Not only is it accurate but will keep the cavalry from looking not as pretty.
To delete for more clearty...
