1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....

Shouldn't Renaissance armies have some uniformity anyways? Great work by the way.

The red seems a bit intense to me, otherwise looking good

similar equipements, but it need more diversity in the colors.

"The red seems a bit intense to me, otherwise looking good"
I agree too, I will try to give a red on the tunics(legs and coats) like the red cross of the shields.

Truth be told I know little or nothing about 14-15 century warfare, so I am speaking on theory. Anyway I don't know about uniformity, they are by and large militia and mecenary armies still, feel free to correct me I am not sure, not my area.

    @Rus-Bey
The shoots are of very low quality. Can't your PC produce better permormance? I mean it is hard to value the artistic level of your work when the shoots are taken while low graph details.

    About the new western servants:
    1. The servants would rather not ride barded horse
    2. The spears for heavy cav of reinesence era in western Europe is some misunderstanding.

About Genoese Guards and Pavise Crossbowmen - those are late units, while shields of that type was not in usage in that period any more. Not to mention that triangular shields never had that round metal boss in the centre.

"1. The servants would rather not ride barded horse"
my exact idea is "Homme d'arme", not poor men, some mercenaries was very wealthy in this period. But I don't have the correct word in English. That could be something like the french condotierri of the 15th century, or the english horsemen mercenaries from the "Bastard Feudality".
For the spears, I will increase their sizes, but I don't want use the vanilla big lance.
Concerning the pavises, I had seen in several books, a late pavise for crossbowmen/gunners of this form. Used essentially by the Swiss, Frenchs, and Genoeses, maybe some others. But less this metal round, effectively. I will shearsh some pics of this shields for you.
So I will remove this rounds

Like the look of the shields here. Are there only two different fronts, or are these representative of Renaissance units looking more uniform...?

Also... I was wondering why the lances that these knights are holding are so spear-like? I thought Ren. lances were slimmed down, but not so much that there were no hand guards? (They have swords for melee, as a secondary weapon still, right?)

Sorry for the barrage of questions! I appreciate your contributions to the mod.

"but not so much that there were no hand guards"
    because I'm learning with Milkshape, I don't do exactly what I would.^^
But I will increase them(more longs just), and try to add the hand guards.

"Like the look of the shields here", 5 shields for now, maybe 8 at final, but I can't made 20 shields by texture, I use a big place to made one shield. For this reason also they are better, no big pixels if you approch the unit^^.

What plans if any, have you got for the Romans? The army is a different animal to previous eras
