[SOLVED] Wrong Download??

I played Darth Mod before when it was 6.2 and I remember torrenting it for at least a couple of hours and the installation took some time too. Now with direct downloaded everything is much faster probably because after I install and enter game (through Darth launcher) there are no changes to vanilla Empire. I don't understand what's wrong? The content installs to the right folder, I get the appropriate launcher but no changes whatsoever upon entering the game.

You could try opening the options menu, then diagnostics, then "enable adv diagnostic", then reset your scripts, and see if it now works.

Perhaps you got a corrupted download. Try again to download it, that's my suggestion.
Then unistall DMUC completely, install 6.2 first and then the patch to 6.7 over it.

I had the same problem... Follow along with riknap's plan, but instead of resetting the scripts, I had to reinstall..

Yeah I downloaded the 6.7 patch yesterday or something, first time download was corrupt, second time was fine!

Sorry for the late response but once again nothing happens! I re-downloaded the file at least 5 times now and still no change. I tried riknap's advice and got no results! What's wrong? Can somebody at least direct me to a torrent download?

Have you tried reinstalling the scripts, iots is the same menu as riknap described above, but is seperate from the reset option.

And there is no torrent available at the moment.

Hmm now the game crashes before the Empire screen even comes up...but maybe that was the solution

Nope even after reinstalling the game it still crashes after reinstalling scripts. Whatever...I'll just wait for a torrent link or try some of the future versions.

So, that doesn't work then.

The only other thing is uninstalling STEAM completely, along with everything related to it, and starting completely from scratch, but that takes a while, and is like using a nuke to crack a nut.

If you don't want to go through with that, should I mark this as solved?

Well seeing as how I reached the pinnacle of said problem and probably being the only one who cannot get any solution for the mod to work, I guess you can label this problem as "solved" although really it is yet to be.
