New anusiya are indeed better, I'm also glad of getting rid of boys in long dresses from recrutation.
Which steppe factions will be playable (if any)?

If you want to make all faction playable,just edit the descr_strat file

I'm asking about full fledged factions along with complete unit roster and flavor text, not about placeholder factions. I can make steppe factions playable even with RoP 2.22, but these will have only generic basic units and generic autonomoi buildings.

There is a new Megas Alexandros mod comming out soon and I believe that you migh want to sharea few ideas with Marcuss Antionius about making it. I suppose since there is a time gap things will be different but it would be good if the mods were to corespond with each other and perhaps work together as a whole group. It's just an idea but it could be to both mods' good.

ROP ain't dead, but has been dormant for quite long, which is a shame as 3.0 is not that far from being releasable. As we haven't posted news for quite some time, I'll write up a post with updates tomorrow.
