hey, I want to download the mod, can I just download the installer and that does it for me? or do I have to download the mod, THEN the installer?

edit: pretty sure I just have to use the installer here. If not I will feel really stupid

Hi i was wondering if somebody could help me try to get this working. I have kingdoms installed and v1.5 and am running on vista. The game starts up and shows the westeros screen but immediately CTDs after that. Thank you in advance

Pff, seems like some data is missing. Have you tried reinstalling westeros?

@Welsh Lord do you have the kingdoms 1.5 patch installed?

I reinstalled it but the same problem is happening. Im not sure why I am missing all of those files. Here is the log again

Im not sure. If i install patch 1.5 will it damage any save games or other mods?

I honestly don`t know what could be wrong. The only thing i could recommend would be uninstalling kingdoms and medieval 2 and reinstalling them; Ofc, i don`t know whether this would help and i don`t want to send you through that ordeal.. But somewhere there must be something broken as most people don`t experience that error.

@ Welsh Lord Well, it shouldn`t. I`m not sure about savegames.. Have a look at the patch description whether it`s save game compatible or not.

Something went wrong with your M2TYW installation. Uninstall the game and delete the remaining files in the Virtual Store before re-installing. It will also help to check this before re-installing: How To Fix UAC and VirtualStore Problems

Hi,the mod doesnt work.When i select a faction(any)and i clik continue,when the bar charge to medium the mod crashes.Help please!!!

Does the game go back to the menu or is it a crash to the desktop?

No joy for me and my nephew. ; ( I really want to help him get this running.

This is XP and the MTW2 gold. We did the update to 1.5 and then are trying to put in the westeros mod.

I was unable to understand the reason for the bat file in the readme, but used the kingdom launcher app to put the path for westeros in the play menu.

You have an error in descr_projectile:

The installer will create a desktop icon, there is no need for the launcher. Please try to start the game directly by using the desktop shortcut. If the error persist re-install westeros, it could be a faulty installation.

I have attached another descr_projectiles file (from my original installation files) - try that as well before re-installing.

I have serious problems running this mod. I can reach the campaign start screen but the westeros map does not show. when I start the campaign after loading half of data it CTD.
Log attached. Please help ironing this out I would like to play this mod. I have kingdoms 1.5 TATW, rule Britannia SS6.4 are working, Westeros is not. also Broken crescent produces the same sypthoms.

There is pretty much an error in every major file. I would suggest a re-installation.

I reinstalled the mod countless times.

Apply this tutorial as from step three, download the installer again and then re-install. Possibly a problem with the Virtual Store.

Thanks for the pointer, does it apply also to XP? I have at home XP.
