does this method (using Squid's tool) replace the method of altering one of your Kingdoms files? I was originally going to replace my Americas campaign with Third Age 3.2 when I came across the Kingdoms Launcher. My question is if I use this steam launcher tool do I still have to modify one of my Kingdoms campaigns or does this bypass that?

This will bypass that old method. I believe the OP for Third Age has been recently updated to reflect that.

I don`t have steam, but since I am helpin lot of people with their TATW Steam installing problems in TATW Technical Help, I am wondering, how do you uninstall TATW from steam?

When you open up the Kingdoms Launcher App program simply right click on the mod you wish to remove, and then click "Delete Settings" which should do the job. Of course it'll still be installed in your steamapps/common/medieval ii total war/mods folder (you have to remove that via uninstall/eraser etc.) but it won't appear in the Steam M2TW launcher listings.

Using the Steam Installer? Otherwise this isn't quite the right place...

    What is RotDG?

RotdG = Rage of the dark gods

Unspecified error means the game starts, but it's not the right game (mod) as RodG would give a different error message.
You most likely installed into the wrong directory - please post in the RodG thread.

At what step (see first post) are you having problems?

You may also want to have a look at this method: Steam compatible modStarter

Basically I've installed your Kingdoms Launcher app correctly, double click on it, and I recieve a message saying 'You must install and play Kingdoms & MITW before using this' so what's the problem? I've already done what it's asked to no avail. Thankyou.

That will be related to the registry entry I would think. I have found a similar question in the support thread for the app but it does not seem to have been solved satisfactorily.

Are you trying to play a basic (Medieval 2) game or a Kingdoms game?

You are using the original americas folder for your mod. I would suggest to change the name of the mod folder (together with the required changes to the BAT and CFG file) and then run the instructions in the first post.
The log does not show an error but the fact that the mod started seems to indicate a correct Steam procedure. Did the mod work in it's present state (no further modifications since it last worked) previously?

    Hi Gigantus
    You are truly great!
After i change folder name and make the proper changes on .bat and .cfg files, upload again with your tool the mod and then exit and reopened steam.
    Now the mod works!
    Thanks a lot!

Hello, I was wandering if someone could help me? I'm having trouble with the 1648 mod. I installed it and all the patches and the English translation, and added it to the mod launcher but when i start it i get a error saying "Uh oh. This isn't good. No idea why, but exiting now. Sorry pal." I've tried a couple methods to get it to work with no luck. I also have other mods that don't work for me like Two Thrones and With Fire And Sword but the strange thing is that i have some mods that do work like The Third Age and The Last Kingdom they're all installed the same way. Im running steam version of Kingdoms. Please Help!!
