Crusader Kings 2 in production

I'm looking forward to this new game and hope it has more of a role playing element than most paradox games. It seems that this is going to be the focus of the new game and it looks likely to be fun. What does everyone else here think of it so far?

Crusader Kings is the best game that Paradox has ever made. I really like the "roleplaying" you're able to do. I hope that CK II will deliver the same atmosphere and corrects the flaws that CK had.

with ck2 i hope they let you play as pagans, muslims, and jews and allow cross religion marriage as was sometimes done. IE. the byzantines marrying to khazars.

Definietly no pagans, muslims, crusader orders, merchant republics.
It was communicated.

I think it is good, very much out of scope.

you could play as other nations besides rome in rome so idk how it would be out of scope.

They had dynasties and familys as well.
