Grayed out save button problem

So, I installed the mod today, I started playing with the Arverni, I got the advisor's message to run the script, but the Show me how to - button was greyed out. So I clicked on the portrait, and then clicked again but then it was gone. I didnt get the one Denarii and I cant save my game, even after a completed turn! They ''Save Game'' button is greyed out! Please help as fast as possible!

TL;DR - Aren't getting the denarii for the script activation, save game = greyed out.

Quite the game and then start again.
You need to quite the game every time you wish to load a save or else the script wont work and that also make it impossible to save.

I guess that you tried another campaign at first and then quit it and choose'd the Arveni campaign without quitting the game.

The second part of the text, yes. After posting the thread post, I went back in game, the script started well, but I still couldnt save the game. BTW, are battles supposed to take ages?

Strange. I'm not an expert on how the script work but I think we have some good help in the technical support forum. I will move this thread there.

And yes they are. You need to outwit the enemy, creating a chain rout. The battles aren't really that long if you use the correct tactics.

There appears to be several different ways to get arond the Save/Load options being greyed out.

An alternative has been suggested by ajtboy

This is what I posted a few hours ago...

1) When you see your Menu page that shows you can't save or load...simply click the "?" button on the top right.
2) Exit out of the campaign and game...sad to say whatever u did is lost!!!.
3) Re-launch the launcher...delete map.rwm...save...start the campaign.

This should kick start it...it worked for me.

I tried both, BTW, I tried as Romans now... Still greyed out. And if its any help, its a One-Turn Campaign in both cases.

P.S. I just noticed there are patches for the mod, do they fix the problem?

P.P.P.S. or whatever it is, It still doesnt work on One-Turn campaigns... It worked on the Roman One-Turn because it was specifical in the launcher... I tried playing as Scythians, but I cant save, WTF? Why I cant save?!
