I mean, he was the guy who wrote and performed "Loose yourself", for crying out loud! There are other artists still, like DMX, which I love and hey, we still have Nas, right? There is still hope for the genre. Although I can't believe that Pac or Biggie would have turned to the pop trash, perhaps you are right.
    Nah, they probably would have.

Been listening to some classic rap and hip-hop recently. I never used to, but some of my friends introduced to it. Plus, I've been playing GTA: San Andreas; can't play that without hearing some of those old school tunes.

And I'm honestly the last person you'd expect to listen to this kind of stuff. I'm pretty much the whitest bread in the loaf.
But, it; good music is good music.

I'm writing my own song and it has really bad words, hating on all this new music and name calling. Can I get some from police? Or they don't care?

they won't care. unless you get to be popular, then they'll care

    How do you mean popular?
    Let's say:
If I upload it on Youtube, advertise it on every place I am in internet. (Normal way, no spamming and 1st asking Admin if I can.)
    Does that counts popular?

no, I mean popular like where your music is influential to hundreds of thousands or millions of youth, like Tupac or Ice T. Then the cops will have it out for you.

You see, the establishment is threatened by young radicals only when they prove to be influential

Oh OK! I'll be underground! Noway I can be like rap legends.
But there is one thing. Is FL studio good enough to create good beats? Like in Dr. Dre style?

FL studio is capable of making great things. (A lot of people say Ableton Live and Cubase are better, but I'm too used to FL Studio to change, Cubase looked horribly confusing but Ableton looks really good)

Black or white does not matter in art....Hell, I am white (Hellas!! ), yet some of my favourite actors are black (Samuel Jackson ftw) and I listen to 2Pac, DMX, Nas, etc....
If the said art speaks in your soul, does it really matter what colour, religion, nationality are you??
    I hardly think so!

The only Hip-Hop I like is Eminem or Hip-hop influenced stuff like Nu-Metal but I haven't heard that many artists that play this kind of music.
