Either the dwarves have been victim of some incredible greifing or we have been victims of a bad chunk error. Whatever the case everything is ruined (see spolier).

yes, delite everything because the dwarves have a hole.
Nhytg, we are referring to reverting back to a previous save, not necessarily restarting the entire world all over again. Furthermore, I cannot simply understand the harshness displayed in your comment: this is a major, destructive glitch that has caused most of what we have put hours into to be utterly destroyed. 'A hole', in your terms, is equal to several massive, cataclysmic chasms diving deep down into our halls, ruining just about everything.

i find it wierd they go exactly through your caves and are only in that area...i suspect griefing
or the actuall area
the damage is far far worth. Stunt is making cartogrpahs then you will see.
i do see them, but really what are the odds it would happen right over there?
I suggest that until we figure out the extent of the damage, and wether it's fixable or affected anywhere else in the world, that people refrain from building anything they can't afford to lose. That, and we've got to evaluate that if we do restore from a backup (depending on how old that is), which is harder to remedy - the Dwarven holes, or what everyone else has made? Also, it may be that we restore from a backup, only for the issue to reappear. [I'll say in advance, if we opt to revert, take a copy of the server as is now before we lose that. We don't want to find the issue is unfixable by reloading and lose recent work aswell]
If we opt not to revert, i'd like to offer to help you guys fix everything.
Edit: Can't see any damage near my construction. Is this just Dwarf specific?

Give a man a fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of the day.
Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Dwarves only, a bit west too.
Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
Sama's and Danny's and Manco's house in the city are affected too.
EDIT: As well as the swimmingpool/wall/makrells house/treefarm/english's buddy house/Katsu's house.
EDIT 2: The climate also shifted to tundra in the city.

REVERT, the longhouse shall not disappear, ever cause it is invisible, and i like invisibility :
I know that this is no time to joke (least of all by me), but can you see the developing pattern here? First the mysterious appearance of TNT. Then the monsters invading the city - now it's the map itself terminating our constructions. The server... It's alive!

Contact me on Steam: steamcommunity.com/id/IZob/ or send a PM.
Is anything like this being reported on the Minecraft forums?
Anyway, if we can't revert, I suggest we have a co-ordinated effort in repairing the damage.

I agree with Musthave, no point starting all over.
