For some reason Genoa tries to siege Turin, which I own, even though rebels are already sieging it. At this point I get a CTD. Too bad because I started to enjoy this game as France. Is there something I can do to save the game?

If there is no way you can somehow get around the siege (perhaps simply giving the region to genoa and then taking it back?), then unfortunately your campaign is beyond repair.

Unfortunately I saved in between the turns before a battle, so I guess it is lost then. ^_^

Do you have a backup save from a few turns previously?
