Politics in Iberia are indeed a messy business, we must do what others force us into. Best example of this are our so called "allies" in the Spanish.

From the very beginning, we asked for assitance in beating the Muslims and helping us expand, to be better allies, more able to help our Spanish brothers should the need arise.

Many viscious battles were fought against the Moors, all by us and us alone, and we faired rather badly. Cordoba swapped between our 2 nations, as did Sevilla, and it was obvious something would have to give.

Our Spanish "allies", rather than help us, decided to attack the French, solely to expand there own Kingdom and gains, and so we must do the same.

We had to agree to become Vassals to the Moors, whilst getting a massive amount of gold out of it, it stung our pride. Then we see our Spanish "allies" have also allied with the Moors, there intentions towards us are obvious. The Spanish wish for us to remain the quiet little brother in Iberia, unheard of unless its to there beck and call, well the Portuguese decide we will sit back and take this no more.

Added to this, the Spanish claim they attack France to help England, the same England who attack our allies in Ireland, so unlike the Spanish we feel we should protect our alliance, doing the right thing.

Through all these goings on, we have decided the Spanish are not our true allies, and have waged War against them!

Santiago has been taken, Leon and Toledo are under siege. The Spanish brought this on themselves, now they must deal with the consequences.

Word is sent to the French, we aid you in your defense of our mutual ally - Ireland, and defend you from those who attack you in doing so. Our only request is you dont treat us in the same poor way the Spanish did.

The Spanish are up, lets see there next move!

TBH i was sick fighting AI, Moors offered me a of gold so i decided to get involved in the human v human side of things, as per the idea of the HS!

Hey Core, was that your garrison from errrr, region North of Toledo (name escapes me now)? I knew it could save one of your regions, tbh i thought you would save Toledo not Leon, so my plans must change slightly now! It might also be worth thinking just coz you have left France, does France want to forgicve and forget your invasion of his lands?

Lol. I told Spain a turn ago: either peace now or never. He said never, so he dies. On another note, Nottingham captured and France is in full war mode, both in north and south. It looks as if Napoleon came to France 600 years early, because the Kingdom is running that efficiently . Soon the confines of the rules of territories will be under the Triple alliance of France, Ireland, and Portugal! All hail King Phillip and Prince Louis! Great rulers and the greatest generals in all of France to boot! Soon my troops will get to taste Spanish blood; hopefully it mixes well with the Norwegian and English blood! Viva la France!!!!!!!!
