Thanks but I have Bi and all latest patches installed.
Try redownloading and re-installing the mod. If that still doesn't work. Try a clean install of Rome Total War/BI and all the patches.
Regarding fading units, could someone enumerate the units whicha are fading out? So that I check all of them... I think the sprites fix is working, but I'd like to check with all the problematic units.
EDIT: Don't worry, I'm already working on that...

Great job,but it is a strange bug with sprites. For example-Yari Ashigaru of Asai clan have sprites in custom battle but don't have in campaign mode. And this is not the one.
PS-sorry for my bad english
I apologise if this has been mentioned before; I didn't see it in the list of known bugs, though perhaps it has been mentioned somewhere else. When I fight battles in the campaign mode, I notice that some of the units become invisible at a distance. That is to say, when the camera zooms out, they simply vanish, though the green arrows underneath them still appear when the unit is selected. The odd thing is that this is not consistent: the Yumi Ashigaru (for example) are visible in one battle, but not in the next battle, and so on. There always seems to be at least one type of unit that is invisible at sprite distance, yet it's not always the same one.
EDIT: Whoops, looks like several people have noted this already.

Think thats a resolution issue AFAIK. Try lowering the resolution and feed back please. We might need to look into a skinner of sorts if it prooves persistant
How are you going to implement the economy? In shogun it was all about rice production, using Rome's engine I cant get farm income high enough without the large population growth problems in version 1. You could always use negative population growth bonus's in high end farms but that don't "feel" right. Or you going to make upkeep of units very low? If you do the latter you will probs getting trade off the ground, and the Ai diplomacy only half's works if the trade levels are at least half of AI income, that way they will accept ceasefires and more allies, which makes for a more balanced game, and helps prevent superpowers, and more factions in end game. With just farm and mine income they will go to war with every one as there's no incentive not to.
On my to do list. But i have a few tricks to making governers worth sommat income wise.
Impressive mod!but, for example... why do the Amako faction have the "roman rebels" (from barbarian invasion) banners in battle?
![]()
They do? Screenshots plz
Oops...i´m sorry, but i have no idea about how to do that (i mean, to include screenshots)
hitting Printscreen should suffice, then pasting into a paint document![]()
i´M SORRY, IT DOES NOT WORK.![]()
As for banners do you mean the Overhead banners who are normally turned of by us(the makers), or really the banners soldier carry on their backs?
the overhead banners![]()
So why turn them on then! (joking joking)
The best way to fix this. Locate the preferences folder in the Shogun2 (not the real shogun2 but the RNJ shogun2 folder) It's under the data folder which is in turn under the custom file folder. Double click on it and then click on preferences. You should then be presented with a whole list of awesome lines of text. Please do NOT touch any I dont say not to touch. Well you can go nuts really. But why play with things that developers insist on setting up...Wonders never cease. Location the following lines of text which in your case. Will look something like this.
And make the bolded change as in the below lines. I will bold it to show the difference.Code:AUTO_SAVE:TRUE SHOW_BANNERS:TRUE UNIT_EXPERIENCE_UPGRADE_EFFECT:TRUE
Then everythign will be sexy.Code:AUTO_SAVE:TRUE SHOW_BANNERS:FALSE UNIT_EXPERIENCE_UPGRADE_EFFECT:TRUE
StealthEvo you like things to be sexy, don't you?![]()

There is a severe shortage of sexy in this world. And as the Sexiest modder it is my duty to enforce the sacred rights. Of Sexah
Yes we turned overhead banners of because most units have Banners themselves, it looked right that way
Oh btw preference.txt was in the Shogun2 folder, but you said its "under the data folder" are you sure?
