Okay so I did a complete re install still nothing tried everything, interestingly enough though the factions work on 1 turn

Working like a charm here (tested the Roman campaign), also feels as if it runs a lot more smoothly overall.
Using Alex.exe, steam and the new launcher.

- Extracted RS2.0 in a tmp folder
- Combined tmp folder content with new patch incl. launcher
- Copied it to a existing RTW/RS2.0 directory overwriting all files/folders

Have you tried any other factions, I think Rome is the only one that definitely works for every one.

In my case,after complete reinstallation now the factions that have been working now(Seleucids,Rome) dont work

Im using windows 7 64 bit and so far all the factions ive tested work. those being pergamon, macedon and rome

Basically I know people are finding they have one or two factions working one of them Rome and the rest are not. Any hows I'm signing off hope the people who have got the patch enjoy themselves

Tested it, and launching Sparta crashed it for me at 99% loading as well.

The greek factions issue could well be caused by the introduction of a new date system, but that should have been picked up earlier.

Its very funny how some people can play, and some can't.

I just tested sparta. Works 100% fine for me. only tested it to turn two but....it works so

That is odd, maybe its some modification some players made that didn't get overwritten and is now conflicting. Maybe it's a evil Greek y2k bug
