Respecto Patronum
Agreed, while the uniforms are in the main really accurate, but unfortunately, there are not many people like you and me playing NTW who really care about such minute details as the correct bearskins.
There are more than you'd think, not that the photograph is an accurate depiction of what Burg was wearing at Waterloo. Thats his full dress uniform, which we know was carried in his pack during the battle, as it was being reserved for the triumphal march into Brussells that evening.
The photograph itself is taken from the Anne Brown Military Collection and is one of fifteen photographs first published in 1898 by Henri Bouchot.
It is believed these are the same uniforms the veterans wore on the 5th May 1855 when they attended the anniversary parade to commemorate the death of Napoleon and the photographs were probably taken at about the same time. Its also obvious that some of the uniforms have been heavily altered by tailors so as to still fit the aging veterans.
The names and dates scribbled in pencil on the reverse of each image were beleived to have been added in the early 20th century and confirm the name of the wearer and the period of his service. So Grenadier Burg would seem to be quite a new appointee to the Imperial Guard only serving in the regiment during 1815, whereas other veterans can be seen to have many years service.
A dozen of the photographs are on display here:

My personal favourite is Ducal wearing his Mameluke Uniform.

I decided to add few more simple bugs here:
1. Fix the officer of Armed Citizinery of Spain who is the ETW Line infantry soldier
2. In MPCs and Camapigns of the Colalition Oldenburg has a fusilier unit and a lancer unit that are again ETW Infantry soldiers. In the French Camapign its fixed.
3. And make French national guard recruitable in Paris.
Thats it. Thanks CA!
In the French campaign Oldenburg has 6 starting units:
1 Chavalegaurx
1 Jager
2 Artillery
2 Line infantry
In the campaigns of the coalitions Oldenburg has 7 starting units:
1 Line infantry
1 Artillery
3 Landwehr
1 Fusilier (ETW) bugged
1 Lancers (ETW) bugged

OK. We are ready for a fix before Shogun 2 comes out.
Seriously, you are still bumping this thread... ?
To be honest, these things do need to be fixed. I don't want Shogun, but I do want a fixed game.
mr simpson's response was that it looked cool to him, and you're just gonna have to get used to it. he didn't say the last part, but that's obviously implied since they won't fix it.
Well maybe we can expect this after the next Shogun 2 patch. I really hope so.
