Well 6 new russian units. The communist ones will be the Red Guard (regulars), People's Militia (militia), and the Latvian Rifle Battalion (elite). I'm also considering a "Soviet Union" custom battle faction if people are interested, as currently Russia has all units, imperial and communist, in custom battles. It gets a bit crowded tbh.

the German revolution created the German republic, the nazi didn't come to power until 1933, so they won't be included in a WW1 game.

USSR, however, should be in. You could transform an usable Italain faction into USSr for custom battles

Agreed, Weimar republic would be much more suitable then the Nazis. Even the short lived Bavarian Soviet Republic would have more relevance for Germany then the Nazis in this timeframe.

Really? Well, I remember that you could create new factions in ETW, although it was very hard.

Nope very simple actually for custom battles (thats how we made the US faction). For campaign I'm sure its very possible but so difficult that no one has succesfully undertaken it.

what about a new map that includes the whole ottoman empire and the whole or part of russia? i mean modders managed to make bigger maps for rome total war and im sure you can do it for napoleon
