The Bardos
The wandering poets old... for'a few coins of gold, will their talents for you unfold... they entertain lords and charm ladies, greatly desired in the entourage of kings, yet forever restless earning a living along the road staying only briefly in the high holds of nobles, in those lands of which they traverse. Some once warriors or adventurers in retirement have exchanged the the sword for a flute. Some inherit this life at an early age with the guidance of their fathers while others still young of heart affixed with a desire to see the world and tell of the experiences seek it for themselves. Always clever in word or poem the Bardus will not forsake the accompaniment of a blade nor the defense of his staff for they know of the ever present danger posed by Brigandi, or other misfortune to be had in the wilderness.
