Limiting Unit Formation Shape/Size

Is there a way to change and set the formation dimensions of units (i.e. limit their length and/or width)?

You mean besides increasing their file/rank space size (unit-stats-land)?

I'm not aware of any other possibility.

Actually this would be a great add on. Being able to set the maximum unit width to avoid not historically single line deployement. But it's hard coded. I have always wonder why we have core settings hard coded like square and formation and then are able to play with thousounds of minor values.

Perhaps it would be possibe with some massive lua - hacks in the luac files, but i wouldn't bet on it...
