French feudalism
France being so centrally located in western Europe Faces Challenges on every border.Granted from Bordeaux` to Dijon` all will call themselves a Frenchmen and share in a common French cultural identity. But when it comes to issues of geographic and domestic claims to rights, France is particularly an example of an “ entity enraptured in self conflict” each region in France is controlled by local figures independent of the Dauphin` in Paris other than token claims of fealty.

Re: French feudalism
Hmm... Excuse me but there are some things that I find "strange" :
the correct names for these factions are "Le Comté de Bordeaux", "Le Comté de Brabant", "Le Comté de Bourgogne"
And "Dauphin" is the term used to name the heir of the french king.
