Inarus, those structures, especially the Colluseum / Hippodrome, are extremely impressive.

Finally finished the outside of my Japanese-style castle, I'm fairly proud of it, although Minecraft unfortunately doesn't allow for the finer curves Japanese forts tend to possess:

I seem to have a never-ending cloud that floats through the mid-section of my castle. Thanks to Stunt for providing the reference material that proved it was possible.

Thanks, it's been like the only thing I've been working on for the past few months or so. Most of the time/effort was dedicated to clearing/raising the land for the foundations.

Obsidian, cobblestone and steel blocks? What's the white sections? Looks nice, well done.

That's not steel, it's stone. The white sections are white cloth - to represent the white stone used in traditional Japanese castles:

    And thanks.

Katsumo, this may be of interest to you - It shows that fencing really helps with the oriental style if used in a certain way.

Aw man, that is awesome - I wasn't actually aware of fencing until I saw Stunt's gate. That's really helpful, thanks Musthave.

It's awkward to do however. A fence block has to be put ontop of another block that isn't a fence. So you'll have to put a range of say dirt blocks underneath where you want the floating section to be, then build your fence, then destroy the blocks underneath. To make columns, you have to do it in stages.

Btw, if you make a fence column, don't make it too large. I tried to make fairly large ones for my airship, and the game kept crashing and corrupting my .dat file on the server. There's plenty of smaller ones elsewhere in the world however.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be making any large one columns, will mostly just use it underneath the edges of the roofing and whatnot.

Does anybody know a mod to remove/raise clouds? I did a quick search but couldn't find much.

Have you tried building in it, and then removing the block?

    Awesome work, like the castle.

A tip for creating screenshots guys, hold F1 to get rid of the HUD (or whatever you want to call it).
