All joking aside, I think waiting until they correct every bugs, fix every single errors and do as much research as they can is the best. Better than release it fast so they could give out a bunch of small patches later, that always anoy the hell out of me since most patches require campaign restart.

I'm getting anoyed by people who keep seriously demanding/asking for release dates like their lives depend on it, it is done when it is done, go play some sport or shoot some pool, or something...get a life.

Anyway I'm agree with Gorilla-chan that we shouldn't keep "crying" at the mod team. We want the mod iseasy to install, run smoothly (don't crash) and have more fun aren't we!? So give them time to fix all it's problem. Beside that this's a great and "noble" hobbies after all don't made it become a headache

Yes I too hope they'll make a good and (almost) bug-free release from this mod but ofcourse I can't expect perfection

yes this mod has been under construction for a while, and many are eagerly awaiting it, I am one of the ones doing so and I haven't lost even the slightest bit of interest in this mod since I first discovered it, and though I want to play it a lot, I've waited this long, I can wait longer, besides this team is taking on a great project with a vast amount of detail, and it's even taking place in an area the Total War series and most mods more or less ignore, it's great to see someone working on an Asian TW, that will encompass Japan as well as the rest of east Asia, as it will allow so many more angles and experiences into the game, no matter who you're playing as. I've been dying to see a mod like this for so long and though I loved the first Shogun, and Shogun 2's looking great, I will still enjoy this mod as well, the unique-ness of it being an added bonus

that being said, please respect the mod team, they've got loads of work to do on this project, and they are doing it on their own personal time, without being paid for it (I assume, unless the team is being sent offerings :p), all to produce a mod that everyone can enjoy, you don't get that so often, so please honor the team's generosity and have patience, it's the least you can do and it's not like you're the only one waiting for it. also, you could take this time to maybe read up on the history around it like a studious adult so you have a better understanding of the game setting when it does come out.
