Default [UNRESOLVED] Problem with darthmod ultimate commander

    Hello

I tried to play Empire today, i had it modded with ultimate commander. When iwent to play it today it would not load any of my games and when i started a new game, (even through the darthmod launcher) it was as if i didnt have the mod installed. So i was just wondering does anyone know why it wouldnt be recognising it anymore?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Will that remove it from the game files? and the reinstalling will just add it back in?

I reinstalled darthmod, and it worked again as soon as it did that, but when i came to play it again the next day the same problem had occured again. So something must me making it not start up with the modded files. I'm just wondering how i can stop it.

How much free harddisc space do you have?
When was the last time you ran Disk Cleanup and defragged your harddrive?
How much ram do you have and which Windows version?

Go through the Darthmod Launcher menu to where you click to launch the game

the bottom option should be "Edit UC Script" click this and check that notepad loads up and has a list of text in it

for some reason your problem was happening with me and the script file wouldnt load at all becuase it had been deleted

    so! go to

    C:\Documents and Settings\(Your User Name Here)\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts\Darthmod\UC

there should be a file: BACKUP.empire.user.script (or somethin like that) Remove "BACKUP." and say yes to the dialog box that comes up

sorted it out for me anyway

Right, we can start by reseting the scripts-go to the DMUC launcher, options menu, diagnostic options, then enable advanced diagnostic options, then press reset scripts.
If that does not work, then reinstall the scripts(that is a seperate option right next to the reset option)

Report back when you've done that
