Trying to put APE:TI on my laptop and getting this message "mss32.dll not found". Any ideas?
Okay, this is weird. Everything was working fine a few weeks ago.
Anyhow, ETW seems to launch normally but never actually starts. I put mss32.dll back in my system32 but now I get a message that says "The procedure entry point _AIL_set_listener_3D_orientation@28 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll"
I would remove the DLL you downloaded -- then verify the local game cache for Empire.
I figured that would fix it because the Miles sound system is proprietary and comes packaged WITH the games -- figured something from the Empire install was jacked after you told me it didn't start vanilla as well as APE: TI.
Not sure about the Steam Cloud thing; I don't know much about it.
I Have the sema problem. Please help me
Follow the same method -- verify the local game cache and try again!
Where is local game cache. I Dont understand....
Hi Person!,
What he means is go to your steam account, then to your library, once there, right click Empire, go to the bottom, click on properties. That will take you to a screen to "varify integrity of game cache". let that do its thing, then try to launch empire again.
That should take care of your problem.
Good luck
