    The Island Dawn

    Witchcraft

    Watcercolour

All insane tunes. Thank me later for the tunes.

    Lessons Learnt.

I think I need a new capital. Public order is getting stupid

Working four nights in a row then getting drunk is an awesome idea.

Apparently an agnostic cannot take the mick out of a religion despite being damned for all enternity for not believeing. Who would have thought (!)

    Right my luverlies.

Last time we were here! The awesome republic of awesomeness had finally gotten it's act together and was once again presenting a united front against the plucky ebil Hellenic Seleucids in their own backyard. I had last Bazza and things were slightly depressive.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

So I gather the remainder of the men I can spare from the north. (yes thats all of them. In those two small stacks) and send them to the front. So incase your not keeping count. All my availible free men are now on the border ready to throw themselves against the Hellenic underdogs. Which considering the time it takes to move Bactrian troops. I'm stuck with Eastern forces at the moment. Not excatly awesome material

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

But I rally a fair whack of troops. 3 units of Bactran infantry SHOULD keep me alive for a bit. Plus i bought my remaining elephants just in case

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Rushing to the aid of Selecuia WHY DIDN"T I GET A FREE STACK OF AWESOME

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

They ran away. These not so sexy Ai are changing their tactics. I dont like it one bit

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

But I got an awesome general out of it. The new Bazza?....We will see

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Now I know from past experience that Antioch will trigger another garrison for the Seleucids. So how to avoid it. A one turn siege. Without siege equipment. I NEED MOAR SPIEZ!!!!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

My army strikes Paraspara I think thats the settlement. But is attacked a few clicks outside the gates.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    They run away again....

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

I fight them on their own turf.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

A bit more productive this time around

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

My spy is still doing the job i'm paying him to do as well

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Before the awesome attacks I thought i'd take some time to highlight the fail of this guy. He likes the Easterners. But they hate him. Reminds me of a few people from my old school. Yup those were awesome days indeed

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

But he still lays down the Awesome Law. IE Stealthevo; Is a man with insane abs. Therefore you can't ever win

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    51% Those are odd's i'll gamble on!!!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The juicey northern front opens again. Mines to had in these two settlements.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Me resisting the urge to see mad bewbies.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Success. I outplayed the potentially hot Annoucer bird. And avoided loosing the game

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Another decent autoresolve. Nothing some re-training won't fix

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Awww yeh. The only soldier of Awesome to have conquered two special places. CADE IS THE KING OF AWESOME

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Thats not good...

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

And on that shocking bombshell and rallying of Cade's Army (without Cade) two armies now stand off. The Edessan Anti LULZ brigade. Against the tired but unmoveable hoards of awesome. Who will win....

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    COMPETITION!!!!

Where should my new capital be?

Simple. Where and Why. Discuss. Convince. Winner get a rep and the settlement of choice capitalled. I want some decent rationale please. It does mean alot to my public order issues. Might spot these annoying rebellions and let me make some moar monehs!

    Stealth out.

    Nice update.

I'd say Baktra should be the ideal choice, it will reduce its unrest and is a rich city to boot.

I'd say Seleucia. It's pretty central at the moment, so it might decrease unrest pretty much everywhere in my experience. Also, it was traditional to make yours the capital of your defeated enemy in the ancient times. You'd basically send the message: 'I'm in your capital, enslaving your citizenz' and daring the Seleucids to do anything about it. Which is an awesome attitude. Which is what you're after if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, cool and awesome AAR by the way. Keep going! You'll see Gaul again... eventually.

Antioch, it is a good city, and the only way you'll expand is westward. Plus, less PO issues in the large cities on the Mediterranean, and in Asia Minor, which you will probably conquer on your way back to Gaul.

Ecbatana is probably the furthest city west without having issues in the east.

This is a great AAR! I would say put your capital as Susa.

This is, without a doubt, the most insane AAR I have ever seen!
    Cheers, and +rep!

PS - Are you going to rely on mercs for the whole game, or train Gaulish troops?

EDIT: Unless you CAN'T train Gauls when you're this far away from Gaul. I don't know the recruitment system too well as I haven't played Extended Cultures yet.

He will be able to do it easily in Galatia, otherwise he'll need to celticize a region and that will take lots of time and money.

Ah, okay. I figured it'd work something like that. Same as XGM.

Your armies of awesome march on.

    Also, Antioch.
when the union's inspiration through the worker's blood shall run,
there can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun,
yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one?
but the union makes us strong.

Exactly, stealth doesn't need those FAAAR Eastern Indian settlements to win, but in order to complete the campaign stealth will need to move West with his hordes of Awesome. If they don't accept the Awesome, then the Awesome does not accept them.
