maybe, but plausibility aside, is there anything in the batman costume that is impractical? even the cape serves a function. Boots can be just as sexy as heels, so there really is no reason for catwoman to be using them outside of the ballroom.
Hell, look at the black widow in the avengers movie. Is there anything besides maybe thors cape that is actually impractical in the Avengers team? Nolans batman gets even less permit to be unpractible considering the world he built around him.

Ummm what? Being hard to impress is one thing, but calling a movie like this based on these incredible trailers a blunder seems a little far-fetched.
The trailer has too much Gordon-Levitt, and I'm fearing his role is going to be very important. If he does become Batman in the end, I'll be pissed.

No he doesn't. Considering Nolan's batman came up with some of the craziest bad guy plots to even consider for a "real-ish" world. Those things were on the level of 24 conspiracies. If you want to take away Batman writers' permit to be impractical then you'd better start getting rid of villians like the Joker, Bane, Catwoman, and focus solely on the mob. That way we can have a Punisher clone that doesn't kill people.
Ironically, this level of reality isn't even expected from Punisher, given the gun kata he can get away with in his movie.
Have a blast with your irony.

Who cares if Catwoman wears heels? Is that going to ruin the movie for you? Are you going to harp on the fact she wears heels in every scene where she's wearing them? There are much more important aspects of a movie that should be concerned other than the practicality of Catwoman's footwear.

Always pictured Catwoman looking like this:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
How crazy exactly? I mean sure the joker blew stuff up as he went along, creatin needlessly complicated plans for hell of it, but he's crazy. Ras al ghul basically just wanted to gas the city, there was nothing 24ish about it, besides the fact that everyone was corrupt. I guess its just the ninja outfits. No he doesn't. I know its something minor and unimportant but it just stands out like a sore thumb to me, because that footware is absolutly useless for everything, like if Captain america wore his pants down to his ass like a guido, i mean sure 90% of the character is terribly unrealistic but those pants look so damn retarded.

You're comparing... a secret and ancient organization that "sacked Rome, loaded trade ships with plague rates (Black Death), burned London to the ground", has an army of ninjas, has enough money and influence to support Gotham's criminal underworld, and managed to steal a microwave device to release a militarized hallucinating agent into the city's water supply so that Gotham would destroy itself... with a woman who wears high heels while she beats up bad guys.

I liked everything in the trailer barring the last part with the fake looking CGI jet. Bane is my fav character (Knightfall is the first comic I read) and pretty much every interpretation outside of the comic has been a muscle bound hulk like character and not much else. I can understand complained about the re-design and not as huge muscles but it's not too big an issue for me. Everything outside of the physical design seems to be pretty close to Bane in the Knightfall. They seem to have done a good job of making him look like a dictator. Thats totally the vibe from that trailer for me.

Looks like it's not just me, see? The trailers have been all gloom and despair but very light on the actual story. I know Batman is supposed to be dark but right now it just looks sort of depressing, and IMO it's not a very good selling point, and we still don't know how Bane is this big menace. There are all sort of explosions but very little context. That's my analysis of the trailers, don't know about the actual movie but they haven't made me want to see it even though I rank TDK very highly.
Aside from that I'm also underwhelmed by how Bane, Catwoman and the batwing(jet) look. Some of the scenes involving the prisoners and the big afternoon brawl look a bit cheesy and silly to me. But that's just me being nitpicky.
THe movie will be gloomy, so why not the trailers? And I can think you can tell Bane is a menace because of the explosions? If you don't see this movie because of this trailer, I don't what to know what kind of diner you are when you go out to eat.
Shame on you!

I'm not sure you know anything about engineering if you think having a machine that can flash boil water within a certain distance without screwing EVERYTHING around it up is at all realistic. To say nothing of an ancient and secret ninja organization that's an anti-thesis to the Illuminatti as a story element.
Batman isn't realistic. He follows the rule of cool. It follows Catwoman can wear heels if she wants and fight better with them for it.
That wasn't CGI.

I dislike the thought of Joseph Gordon-Levitt becoming Batman, his shoulders are too thin and womanly for him to ever be convincing as any sort of action hero.
