Venezuela was a very open country. My grandpa from France emmigrated to Venezuela in 1938. without any problems!
His highness, þeþurn I, Keng of Savomyr!
Yes, Venezuela was known as the biggest asylum for Jews in the 20th century. These days, Jews of Venezuela are much less happy due to the rising anti-semitism from the government and the populous, which furthers our point that unless we have a Jewish state of our own we can never count on leading normal lives.

jews are totally fine nowadays in usa, russia, europe, turkey, japan, australia, south africa, etcc
but oh yes.. europeans kill and displace jews so jews kill and displace arabs
it must be THEIR FAULT that jews have been persecuted throughout history
----
doesnt prove anything ... and the arab nations that expelled jews did not represent the arab people or the locals.. all of those regimes were installed by the departing colonial powersQuote:
The Hebron massacre refers to the killing of sixty-seven Jews on 23 and 24 August 1929 in Hebron, then part of the British Mandate of Palestine, by Arabs incited to violence by rumors that Jews were massacring Arabs[1] in Jerusalem and seizing control of Muslim holy places. This massacre, together with that of Safed, sent shock waves through Jewish communities in Palestine and across the world.
Quote:
The 1929 Safed massacre took place on 29 August during the 1929 Palestine riots. Eighteen Jews were killed (some sources say twenty) and eighty wounded.[1] The main Jewish street was looted and burned.

The only two places that Jews have always lived relatively well is the USA and Israel. The USA has it's share of anti-semites too, but there are enough Jews there to watch out for one another and prosper. I have lived in both Britain and Australia, and in both places Jews have to live with every-day anti-semitism. Yes, it's not like how it was 50 years ago, but you can't walk around with a yarmulke on your head, you get beaten up on the school bus (Jewish schools share their buses with Goy schools), people spit on the ground when they walk next to you - it's all very unpleasent. Back then it was much worse than simply unpleasent of course, when Christians burnt Jews in their own synagogues and the only states to accept Jewish refugees before and after the holocaust were Venezuela and about two other third-world countries who could do with a few Jews in their enconomy (we did wonders for Venezuela). All the countries you mentioned (especially South Africa and Russia) have Jewish communities who have been persecuted at times and have to face prejudice everywhere except for Israel. I've mentioned all this in another thread in much more detail, but yes, the Jewish state is necessary.

I dont know why but some "people" prefer to show "another side" of arabic peoples.
Good Guy, You remind me of some one
Please quote me saying that.
We did many wrong things, but those things do not represent our country as a whole, which is overall good. The Romans kicked us out, the Europeans pushed us back in, the Arabs attempted to push us into the sea. During all this time we made a few atrocities like any other nation, but no matter what perspective you take we didn't start the conflict.

Indeed you didn't. You are only poor people who were kicked out of Europe into Palestine and faced only two options, die or kill the Palestinians and live in their places.
The Romans kicked you out shame on them, and the Europeans pushed you back in, shame on them as well. you were pushed back in to divide the African Arabs from the Asian Arabs and so the Arabs fought you (It would have been better if they concentrated on Building better nations instead ).
The Arabs have been since the early days of the Ummaid Empire nothing but good to you. They have protected you and even gave you high office positions in their Empires. The Turks also saved you from the Spanish inquisitions. The Arabs only attempted to push you to the seas when you were moved to establish Israel.
And Guess where do Jewish people live in Lebanon. out of the 18 sects there are in my country, they have chosen to live in the Sunni territories. Why ? because they feel safer.
Anti Semites
We were facing persecution in Europe, we fled to Palestine where we were faced with angry Arabs who wanted to kill us. Look, I explained everything in another thread, I don't have the time nor the energy to protect my country in the face of a Lebanese person (no offence of course). All I'm saying is, after all we've been through in the hands of both the Arabs, the Russians and the Westerners, we had no choice except to make our own state. If the Europeans would have let us have a state elsewhere, the Palestinians wouldn't have to share their land with Jews. However, the Europeans were pushing us to the edge and the British specifically gave their support for a Jewish state in Palestine. If the Arabs accepted us nothing would have happend and we'd have peace now, yet they just couldn't bring themselves to let go of 1% of their land.

Thats a ridicolous notion, If arabs care even a smidgeon for jews, surely they can spare a small strip of land and absorb the palestinian immigrants relatively easily.
Of course they cant, because they have political reasons to dislike Israel and treat it as an enemy, and that was their automatic and base assumption, There is no reason to think that by the 19th century the arabs cared anything for Jews as a whole. The ottoman empire might have cared, and they were quite willing to sell the Jews land, but they were gone quite soon into the 20th century.
