I have also been wondering about that![]()
Fraps?
Have you tried it, it is working good?
Fraps is working good for xp at least, though I use to take regular screenshots instead
But I should have thought of that![]()
Well it's a lot easier than always printscreen and paste it in paint (which i did with windows xp). However, the free version of fraps only saves in BMP-format, so if you want another format you'll have to edit them yourelf, and if you take a lot of them, that's probably a lot of work
Yeah, I use to take a lot for my AAR, and I have enough job already with the editing![]()
So, do you have any better programs?![]()
All that I have installed is Quicktime (through iTunes) and all that I have to do is press 'print screen' and it saves to the tga folder.
To get to this folder, take the following path:
Computer -> Drive which Medieval is installed -> Users -> You -> AppData -> Local -> VirtualStore -> ProgramFiles -> Sega -> M2TW -> tgas
Before doing so, make sure you have hidden folders visible. To do this, use the following link:

Good luck!![]()
- Take screenshot with the PrtSCr button ingame.
- Sceenshots are in the medieval 2 total war\tgas folder
- Edit with GIMP and save in JPG\PNG\GIF (whatever format you wish) or convert using IrfanView to convert to JPG\PNG\GIF (whatever format you wish)
- For higher\different resolutions check my thread here: High Resolution Screen Shots
Thank youI shoul try it
