    Hi guys,

This is in order to let you know that I started the work for the Naples roster. I also reworked the Wallachian Haiduci and I added Cossacks to Moldavia. Check out the front page.

    Cheers,

    S.

Brilliant work Wallachian, I'm adding them to the mod right now. Just added the Swiss Infantry to the Naples roster.

Thank you for your kind words. And I love those Swiss, you know before I started researching for the mod i somehow had the ideea that after the Napoleonic wars the Swiss weren't allowed to be mercenaries in other armies. Obviously i was wrong. Great looking unit! Just one thing to note, can you please increase the font of the title 'Carboneria Napolitana' because it's slightly smaller then the other two faction titles. Cheers

Thank you very much for your appreciation. I've just posted a new unit. However I might like doing this, is a tedious job and it might take a while before releasing. If any modeller is willing to help, he would be much welcomed.

    Nice job! +rep ....
But just change the name... by Carboneria Napoletana in Kingdom of the Two Sicilies
and add to the kingdom of Naples even the Sicily...
Then you should change the UI of Tiragliatori with Fanteria di Linea .... so they seem more like in the picture...
I hope to try it soon

@RO Citizen You are definitely right. Thanks for the hint. I'll try posting an announcement soon.

@✗Lone Wolf✗ Thanks a lot. I'm glad you like the units. I might change thins accordingly, though it's quite unclear to me whether the Carbonari revolution took place all across the kingdom of Two Sicilies or only in Naples. As for the Tiragliatori, as far as I know they are a type of light infantry - from what I've read they would use rifles instead of muskets (which at that time were still used by Line infantry regiments) and would skirmish. If you or anybody else has some more infos about Sicilian army in action, please send it to me. Cheers,

Nice work, Wallachian. It seems we are back in business . I will definitely change the Moldavian uniforms accordingly.

However there is some work to be done and I can't dedicate more than 1hr a day to modding. I hope that some help might show up as I posted an ad. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=475529.

What i find really interesting is the square hat of the lancer, simillar to the polish uniforms. Hadn't seen that before! Hope, someone who has the skills will be willing to help with the mod.

    Hi guys!

I read that you need some hungarian stuff for the 48'period. Let me give you some:

Hungarian Line Infantry of the Habsburg Army from the regiments Turszy and Dom Miguel (they fought on the hungarian side of the conflict)

Hungarian National Guards - low disciplined, semi-trained militia like troops from countys Pest, Zala and Vas

Major of the National Guard, an officier of the National Guard Horsemen, Horseman

Székely borderguards (grenzen) The Habsburg Empire had 6 borderguard regiments in this region: 2 serbian (fought beside Austria) 2 romanian (fought beside Austria) and 2 székely (fought beside Hungary)

Hungarian Line Infantry the Honvéds - properly trained and disciplined

Hungarian elite infantry the "white feathers" battalion

Hungarian elite infanrty the "red caps" battalion

If you are interested in more of these pics, please let me know, and I will be glad to help. I am very greatful to you guys, because this is my favourite era, and I have been eager to play in this age for a long long time. So keep up the good work!

That's great, very beautiful selection of uniforms +rep. They seem to be quite simillar to some uniforms in NTW so hopefully they can be implemented. Sotericus, is it possible to implement the Honved that Danova had made?

@HusserlTW Hi there. Glad to be back myself.

@neozsivany very nice pics +rep. this should cover up lots of the Hungarian units.

@Wallachian The Honveds as they are in neozsivany's post seem quite simple to design. I'm not sure whether danova had some work finalized, but I'll ask him. In any case, give me a week end afternoon and I may come back with a Honved

Now the pictures. There are some changes I made for Wallachian and Moldavian cavalry based on Vladescu's 'Uniformele Armatei Romane'. As you will see, there is some work to be done with regards to the colours. The models as such, may be subjected to some minor adjustments.

Thank you very much! There are svereal nationalities who fought on the Hungarian side in this conflict. the most important of them is the Polish Legion.

    Polish cavalry, infantry and officiers

Legioners of Vienna (after the fall of Vienna (1849 october) a few hundred rebels escaped to Hungary and formed the legion)

From left to the right: Soldier of the German Legion, the Polish Legion and a jager of Tyrol

Here are some ideas for the generals:

Arthur Görgey the most talented brilliant Hungarian general

János Damjanich who was never defeated in battle

Józef Bem the Polish commander of the Hungarian army in Transylvania

Karl August Graf zu Leiningen-Westerburg general of the Hungarian 3rd. corps

Ernst Ritter Poelt von Poeltenberg general of the Hungarian 7th. corps a valiant hussar

    And finally some hussars

The Habsburg Empire's army had 14 hussar regiments out of these 10 fought in the war on the Hungarian side. In the rest 2 regiments fought in Italy and the other two was not rallied of Hungarians but Croatians and they fought against Hungary during the conflict. Hungary recruited four more regiment during the war and called them honvéd hussars. I'm going to present these 14 regiments that formed the cavalry of the Hungarian army.

    1st. Kaiser (Császár) Hussar Regiment

    2nd. Hannover Hussar Regiment

    3rd. Ferdinand Hussar Regiment

    4th. Alexander (Sándor) Hussar Regiment

    6th. Württemberg Hussar Regiment

    8th. Coburg Hussar Regiment

    9th Nicholas (Miklós) Hussar Regiment

    10th Wilhelm (Vilmos) Hussar Regiment

    11th Székely Huszár Regiment

    12th Palatinus (Nádor) Hussar Regiment

    13th. Hunyadi Honvéd Hussar Regiment

    14th Lehel Honvéd Hussar Regiment

    15th Mátyás Honvéd Hussar Regiment

    16th Károlyi Honvéd Hussar Regiment

    17th Bocskai Honvéd Hussar Regiment

    18th Attila Honvéd Hussar Regiment

    Have fun!
