    What version are you using?
Do you have patch 1.5 (RTW) 1.6 (BI) Installed?

If it still doesn't work and you are on vista or 7 try running the mod as administrator.

If you want the Ceasar campaign. You need to make sure you DON"T run the carthago senate option as that replaces the roman rebels with normal rebels

    Woot Syracuse!

All of those provincials are so difficult. Forces you to blitz the first few turns.

I disagree. I gave the Bosporan Kingdoms a good play through. I was able to stabilize and grow mah coffers with three provinces for a good 50 turns. Before moving into blitz play

Bactria is hard! I've yet to find a way of playing it well. I just never have enough money.

You will need to go quickly for India and a bucketload of luck.

When I take indian cities they seem to revolt and produce very little monies. Is it better to go with allied government or attempt to make them into western cities?

Allied government is the better choice, hellenization is expensive and takes time.

Plus Allied Government allows you to make full use of the AoR's. They have some fearsome units!

Bactrian infantry are incredible. Were they seriously that good IRL?

There are carvings of elite heavy infantry in the area, those were the ancestors of BIs Sogdian Infantry.

I actually found Bactria quite easy. I initially tried to go for India first, but the TSE kept harassing me, so I quickly send an expedition to capture Susa, Seleucia, Antioch, etc. They were neutralized after that. I had to fight their silver shields with town watch and levy pikemen (my economy could hardly support levy pikemen!), but it wasn't bad. It wasn't until I conquered India that I got a decent economy going.

Syracuse is one of the easiest greek colony to play with. Reinforced walls, gold/gold upgrade, island , close to Carthage makes it pretty good choice. Although starting turns are hard and I ended by defending city with 2 units coz I didnt have money to support more.
