    Eastern Iberia

The Mediterranean climate of this region roughly extends from the Andalusian Plain along the southern and eastern coasts of Iberia up to the Pyrenees, on the seaward side of the mountain ranges that parallel the coast. Total rainfall in this region is concentrated mostly in late autumn-winter and spring periods. The rain pattern is often irregular which make drought periods likely. Temperatures in this Mediterranean region are higher in winter, and the fluctuations in summer temperature changes more limited, than those of the continental inland region. Temperatures in January normally average slightly higher in most of the Mediterranean area of this region, getting cooler in the northeastern coastal area north of Barcelona. In winter, temperatures inland in the Andalusian Plain are slightly lower than those on the coasts. Temperatures in July and August are warm but mild but have some humidity on the coast. while farther inland, it is hotter with high humidity. The Mediterranean region is marked by Leveche winds: hot, dry, easterly or southeasterly air currents that originate over North Africa. Episodes of these winds, which sometimes carry fine Saharan dust are more likely in spring, associated to a sudden, usually short-lived, rise of the temperatures. A cooler easterly wind, the Levante, funnels between the Sistema Penibetico and the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. These easterly winds are the ones which most influence the Mediterranean climate, for they are mild in temperature and humid.

the "Moroccan" or most north western tip of Africa spans from the Atlantic Ocean, includes the atlas mountainous areas, and end at the beginning of the Sahara (desert). This area an area which bordered by the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea and also represents a drastic climate change from the European continent to its north across the Mediterranean .
A large part of the region is mountainous with small pockets of land that can be of value for agricultural cultivation. the main dominant feature in this landscape are The Atlas Mountains and are located mainly in the center and the south of the area. The Rif Mountains are a smaller range & located in the north of the region. Both ranges are mainly inhabited by the Berber people. The northern coast and interior are mountainous with large areas of bordering plateaus, intermittent valleys, and rich coastal plains. Dry, hot, sandy summers and mild, wet winters are the weather conditions mostly experienced.

    Portugal

Portugal is not a homogeneous country geographically. The physical environment varies enormously, creating several distinct geographic regions that, in turn, have shaped the culture of the people and their economy and society. Northern Portugal is a mountainous, rainy region, characterized by many small farms and vineyards. The Portuguese nation originated in this region, first by fending off León Castilla in its aims of Controlling all of Iberia while simultaneously engaged in driving the Islamic powers further south and eventually out off the Iberian peninsula altogether has defined Portugal in the eyes of Europe as a sovereign state . Northern Portugal is composed of mostly desolate area`s & rocky hillsides where small landholders have eked out a meager existence for hundreds of years. This region is also said to be the origin of the strong Portuguese values of hard work, thrift, traditionalism, Roman Catholicism, and practicality.
Central Portugal, between the Rio Douro in the north and the Rio Tejo includes the capital city of Lisbon and its environs. The central coastal region consists of dunes and pine forests, and many residents of the area earn their livelihood from fishing. The central eastern areas, known as the Beira, consist of mainly small and medium-sized farms, with some mining and light industry. The greater Lisbon area, including both the city and its suburbs, accounts for most of the nation's commerce and much of its industry.
Southern Portugal, known as the Alentejo (literally, "beyond the Tejo") is an area of gently rolling hills and which are dominated by large-scale agriculture and grazing. It is traditionally also a land of often embittered with tenant farmers and peasants. In contrast to the,
The extreme south of Portugal is known as the Algarve, which is a dry region of which enjoys limited, grazing, and fishing, and mainly populated by small coastal villages & towns. This is the area of Portugal most strongly influenced by Islam.

    Tunisia

Tunisia's climate is temperate in the north, with mild rainy winters and hot, dry summers. The south of the country is desert. The terrain in the north is mountainous, which, gives way to a hot, dry central plain in the south . The south is semi-arid, and merges into the Sahara (desert). A series of salt lakes, known as chotts or shatts, lie in an east-west line at the northern edge of the Sahara, extending from the Gulf of Gabes into Algeria.
Agriculture and other forms of agrarian production exist in the north, while the south of the region is harsh & endures constant sand storms and extreme temperatures of both hot & cold due to the predominantly desert environment.

At the Heart of French culture lies Le Dauphin in Paris & Paris is the site of such monuments to Christendom as the Notre dame cathedral and the Chartres cathedral. Such monuments display the high level of devotion that is put into roman catholic religious teachings, among its people. The Northwestern region of France is almost entirely catholic (except for sparse & not worthy of significant note followers of archaic pagan philosophies). Christianity`s main rival in the region stems from the heretical religious teachings of the followers of these "pagan" beliefs (which lack any cohesive bond as serious or powerful social trends), rather than any "large-scale" conflict of ideology from other religions. Such heresy is given no tolerance by the government which in the eyes of the people is an extension of the church. And this the sentiment of the vast majority of the Northern French "God or Christ rather is the celestial diviner of all things & the monarch is his direct representative & main instrument in bringing his divine will in a terrestrial manifestation!"

The majority of the population In Saxony calls themselves Roman Catholic & are loyal Christians. However the level of devotion to the christian faith is beginning to wain, as people are beginning to silently question some of the churches practices. Despite this growing trend of religious skepticism, these ideas has of yet had no impact or posed any disruption in the rule of the government or its ability to thoroughly exercise its authority , as the investiture controversy of years past has already defined the boundary of power between church and state In the area.
