Serbian army was very important army in WWI war !
It was composed of units of the "First Call" (men aged from 21 to 31 years) and "second call" (men aged 32 to 37 years) are organized in the People's Army,
and a 'final defense' (men aged 18 to 20 and 46 to 50 years) whose units were on the Garrison and guard duty.
Volunteers recruited to Army-in-exile 1916 onwards: 15–20,000
Serbian army was made of battle hardened veterans of First and Second Balkan war which allowed it to defeat several times numerically superior Austro-hungarian force.

After re-organization of Serbian Army on Corfu 1916, Serbian Army received French uniforms. The new element in those uniforms was helmet.
It was like French helmet with Serbian two-headed eagles on it. Beside the helmet, soldiers continued to wear traditional Serbian heat 'shajkachas'.
